A man police say almost let his 14-month-old daughter drown in a hotel bathtub while he sat nearby drinking beer was charged Thursday with one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of child neglect.Gregory Knitter, 44, of Cornell, was caring for the child at a Super 8 hotel in Wauwatosa last Friday while his girlfriend, the 14-month-old's mother, visited her 3-year-old son at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
