It's another fun weekend in Milwaukee thanks to Earth Day, the Milwaukee Public Museum and more. Have fun, Brew City parents, and enjoy this splendid planet we live on!

THURSDAY

EARTH DAY IS OVER THE GREEN HILL
Join in the activities, fun and entertainment at the Coast Guard Pavilion, 1700 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr., for the Earth Day 40th Anniversary Celebration! Enjoy an eco-puppet pageant, musicians, dancers, poets, girls' choir, photography, children's recycled art activities and more from 5 to 7 p.m.

FRIDAY

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
Have you ever wondered what goes on in the upper floors of the Milwaukee Public Museum? Here's your chance to find out! Visit "off limits" sections of the museum, meet curators, discover museum secrets and see rare artifacts not normally available for public viewing during "Behind the Scenes at the MPM" from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors ages 60+ and $10 for children ages 5-17. Member admissions are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children. Register by calling (414) 278-2728.

EARTH MATTERS!
Teach your kids appreciation for and information about the environment and earth systems through stories and games at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Meet a friendly mystery creature, handle natural materials and make a recycled craft to take home as a reminder to make earth-friendly decisions at home. Starts at 2 p.m.
